Wasn't really satisfied, but was okay with it compared to my disastrous prelim score.
Got 6 Distinctions, 2A1, 4A2 and 4 B3.
Sadly, ALL my science got B3 together with my Amaths.
But its a miracle how my Amaths improved from a F9 to a B3. (:
My Emaths, English, Chinese and surprisingly Higher Chinese got an A2.
While my 2 Humanities, EngLit & Combi Humans (SS+Egeog) got A1. (:
My L1R5 was 11 and R4 8.
So after the taking away CCA points and HCL extra points, I've got 7 for R5.
The problem is... My score isn't gonna land me into some excellent JCs.
Wanted to enter the ART STREAM since I'm a ART STUDENT base on my Olvl score.
So I'm looking for a school with ARTs as in VISUAL ARTs cos I've great interest in it and believe I will excel in it.
I've thought of placing TJC and ACJC into my list but traveling is a great hassle if I get enrolled into either of them. * TJC looks old. *
I look in the JAE Booklet and saw AJC, the scores ain't bad also. Saw the Subject Combi and notice Arts wasn't available there. So its off my list also. ):
And den I thought of VJC Art stream ( 6 pts ), and perhaps I can try that. Even if I dun get in, I can alway appeal with my Drawing Talent. BUT, the appealing needs my Sec 3 to Sec 4 scores, which is SUPER SUPER TERRIBLE. Therefore, I'm not so sure about getting in. ):
So all the top school was near impossible to enter, so I thought of Alternatives. SAJC, MJC and NYJC. I know definitely if I choose either of them, I will get in, So these are the worst case scenarios.
SAJC - I thought I may like it, but when I went for their Open house, I didn't have a HOME FEELING, it felt very weird in SAJC. So I wasn't keen into getting there. ):
MJC - NO ARTS! ):
NYJC - Arts Elective Programme, 3 mins walk from my house, Love the environment. I thought NYJC would be a perfect school for me. But the thing is, 7 getting into NYJC? Isn't it abit of a waste? Plus I should be in better school rather than in school like NYJC! I'm not saying NYJC sucks, among all the schools, I like NYJC the most! But the thoughts of seeing alot of CCHMS peeps (not my cliques) made the school seems less desirable. ):
Just, NJC pops up in my mind. They do have Arts Elective Programme. Its a VERY GOOD SCHOOL. My dad wans me to go. I dun mind that school either. BUT, THE CUT OFF POINTS ARE 5! -.- Appeal using my Drawing Talent, probably there might be a chance bah... haiz... ):
